I liked the series and am sad that there were only 4 seasons. The only thing I disliked about the series was the stupid change to the intro song. It was fine originally, until they modified it making it sound like pop music... Whoever made that change was seriously smoking something. And not the good stuff. The NX-01 is a cool ship btw.

i would broaden the dorsal neck and remove the ventral one. I'd also lean back the head of the bird (command module?) i'd also enlarge the dorsal weapons and sensor suite at the dorsal aft section, as well as enlarge the lateral warp nacelles

I have been watching TNG since it originally aired and have never heard of this alternate universe episode. It was never even mentioned in the Star Trek forums I used to frequent.

The difference between exploration and colonization in Star Trek vs The Expanse is entirely due to the different speeds of their respective propulsion systems. Star Trek's FTL means they are going to be spreading to other solar systems.. Meanwhile in the Expanse they still don't have FTL so they are still limited to our current solar system.

2 main complaints...we know Montgomery Scott is the most celebrated engineer in Star Fleet. He even made it to Picards time, and had a series of novels featuring him--the S.C.E. series. So my complaint is this: why don't they have a ship/starbase named after him? Or, after Jimmy Doohan, the actor that played him?
